Opened in 1992 and fully renovated in 2017, Genesis Homes is home to 150 families, half of whom were previously homeless. Supportive Services are provided by HELP USA through several state and federal contracts. In addition, Genesis Homes has space for summer youth and after-school programs and leases space for a dental clinic for Low Income community residents. The project was financed using Low Income Housing Tax Credits and funding from New York City and State.
